Every stitch of this yarn as I knit it seems to add to something beautiful and special, yet this is a learning curve for me as I am designing something in form that is a bit different from everything that I have tried before. I have a fairly good idea that my idea is and will work out the way I have planned and written the pattern, but being a lace project the proof of the knitting will be in the blocking. Every stitch works towards that exciting moment, so I just don't want to put this project down.
I'm especially enjoying this project because I have in mind a certain literary character as the design is pulled together with this highly saturated red yarn; someone I have often wondered how would it be if they came and had tea with me.
